What to expect

1. Assessment. We'll feel the masseter while you clench to map its size and strength, and talk through your goals — slimming, symptom relief, or both.
2. Treatment. A few small injections into each masseter. The visit takes about 20 minutes, and most patients describe the injections as quick pinches.
3. No downtime. You can return to work immediately. Avoid rubbing the area and strenuous exercise for the rest of the day.
4. Results. Relief from clenching typically begins within 1–2 weeks. Visible slimming is more gradual — the muscle reduces over roughly 4–6 weeks, with full effect around 2–3 months.
